As we prepare for the launch of Fabrica Ventures Fund III, we decided to publish our investment thesis as a short booklet. We hope it becomes a useful complement to our conversations with LPs and prospective investors.
The Intelligence Supercycle takes about ten minutes to read. It summarizes why we believe AI represents a structural shift rather than just another technology cycle—and how that conviction translates into Fabrica Ventures Fund III.
We’ll be bringing copies with us during our São Paulo roadshow, which begins on August 10.
In the meantime, if you’re curious, you can order a copy on Amazon.
I hope you enjoy it — and I hope it leads to a few invitations for coffee.
Interestingly, producing the booklet became an illustration of one of AI’s central implications.
The traditional workflow with an external service provider often looks like this:
Idea → explain → wait → follow up → clarify → review → request changes → wait again → outcome
Increasingly, the AI workflow looks like this:
Idea → outcome → iterate
Throughout the process, I found myself exploring ideas with AI rather than managing a production process. We explored different cover ideas, rejected the first concept, arrived at the exponential-curve design, refined the typography, adjusted Fabrica’s branding, prepared the pdf, figured out Amazon KDP’s formatting requirements, and ultimately published the booklet.
Conclusion
The first generation of AI made it easier to know.
The next generation is making it easier to do.
The constraint used to be other people’s response time.
Increasingly, it is your own initiative.
Agency has shifted.
